A submission for the IndieDevDay Game Jam. I took part with the team I would later join for a university contest — we entered the jam specifically to find out whether we worked well together.
Five days to build the whole game, so we split the team into sections and got moving.
The story
The theme was "Better late than never". We tried to make something where the player feels connected to the character, letting the story unfold while you pick up objects and move through the map.
Two characters: Ainoa and Ariel, friends since childhood. They loved each other and never said it. Now that Ainoa has passed away, Ariel wants her to know.
As people say: it's better late than never.
My role
I built the entire scenario — every room, in a low-poly stylized style, modeled in 3Ds Max and textured in Substance Painter. Painting the models stayed simple because we had committed to clean, flat colors.
